Understanding consumer demand with regard to Global NPN

Even with an affiliate program like Global NPN, you still need to think like a retailer in some ways. Why? Because your referral prospects are consumers and you are the merchant. So what are some concepts to bear in mind when tailoring your sales messages and ads?

Listen to what people are saying that they want.

It used to be that only certain professions and businesses had to really listen closely with empathy to their client's needs. Retail businesses in more prosperous times weren't in the business of playing counselor, coach, or advocate. That's all changed as consumers around the the U.S. (around the world, actually) are struggling with a bad economy, causing them to change their previously unquestioning consumer mentality to one of careful frugality. In an environment like this, the only way to customize your marketing and business strategies is to pay close attention to your customer's needs and try to meet them.

Understand The Big Three Components of Consumer Demand

Many of the issues that customers are going to face in this global-recession are the same: Reduced income, increased expenses, and solutions that don't meet their immediate needs. As we know from business theories, consumer demand is comprised of three components: Income level, personal preference, and price. There is not much a business can do about customers’ falling income levels, though being a Global NPN affiliate is quite inexpensive, and 'pricing' is a function of the membership level.  So the only other way to influence consumer demand is through preference.

Global NPN gives them options and lets them make their own choice.  That's one of it's main selling points.

Yes, your potential affiliate referrals have less to spend these days, but this doesn't mean that they will naturally gravitate to the 'cheapest' affiliate programs. In fact, value becomes more important as the length and depth of this world-wide financial crisis grows.  An affiliate program that has all the marketing tools you'll ever need in one place has value.  So does a proven company with quality ownership.

The best way to advertise Global NPN

What is the very best place to advertise Global NPN?  The answer might suprise you.  The truth is that it doesn't matter 'where'  you advertise... just don't advertise Global NPN.

Confused yet?  Then let me explain.

Take traffic exchanges (TE's), for example.  Promoting stock affiliate pages (no matter how beautiful they are!) is almost a complete waste of time.  The people there who are surfing the exchanges don't want to join your program.  They want you to join theirs!  All they are doing is clicking away, as fast as possible, to earn credits.  The only way to reach them is with something called an 'interrupter'.  It has to be a simple and powerful 'squeeze page' that makes them stop clicking for a second - something compelling enough for them to fill out your subscription form to learn more.

That's what a squeeze page is.  It's just a very compelling ad that asks the reader for their name and email address in order to learn more about the enticing message.  In other words, you want to get them out of the TE and onto your list.  By the way, your upgraded NPN account includes an autoresponder feature.  But the point is this:  you used some kind of 'bait' to attract the subscribers, such as a free ebook, free report or what-have-you.  Once they are on your list and received your gift, the autoresponder series should continue to offer genuinely useful marketing tips and more freebies.

In this way, you build a good relationship with your subscriber list.  Then, the best way to advertise Global NPN is with your signature line and occasional mention of it's digital products, as they relate to the marketing tips in your autoresponder series.  In other words, you sell by not selling.  As ironic as it sounds, people love to buy (and even join new programs), but nobody wants to be 'sold' on anything.

Keep this in mind and you'll do far better...
